Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing human resource management decisions within existing rules, regulations and procedures;
- Processing information relating to recruitment, promotion, leave, transfer and exit documents;
- Updating payroll and complement data;
- Maintaining accurate records of expiry of contracts, probationary periods, and acting appointments, and submitting reports for decision making;
- Collating and compiling training applications and staff performance appraisals;
- Updating the human resource management information system;
- Compiling agenda and minutes for the human resource advisory committee;
- Drafting routine correspondence;
- Identifying areas of risk in the department;
- Implementing the department’s charter;
- Promoting Business Process Re-engineering (BPR);
- Implementing the business continuity plan for the department; and
- Fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and good corporate citizenship.
