Environmental Engineer Job Kisumu CPSB

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and supervise environmental engineering projects (waste management, drainage, wastewater, climate adaptation infrastructure)
- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and audits
- Develop pollution control and environmental mitigation systems (iv) Monitor compliance of County projects with environmental regulations
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and environmental briefs
- Support implementation of environmental policies and NEMA recommendations (vii) Lead climate resilience initiatives
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Kenyan Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
- Registered or eligible for registration as Graduate Engineer with EBK
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- EIA/EA certification by NEMA is an added advantage
- Knowledge of EMCA 1999, Water Act, Climate Change Act (vii) Proficiency in environmental modelling and design software
