Visual Merchandiser Job City Walk
Looking for a fashion design job in Kenya? City Walk is hiring a Visual Merchandiser to create attractive product displays, enhance store presentation, and support customer engagement through effective visual strategies. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in visual within retail, fashion, footwear is required
Job Purpose
To create visually compelling store and window displays that enhance brand presentation, improve customer experience, and drive sales across City Walk branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement attractive in-store displays aligned with the brand image.
- Plan and refresh eye-catching window displays for promotions, seasons, and new launches.
- Arrange merchandise to maximize visibility, cross-selling, and sales.
- Execute seasonal and promotional displays according to the marketing calendar.
- Maintain brand standards in colors, lighting, fixtures, signage, and overall presentation.
- Keep displays fully stocked, organized, and correctly priced.
- Optimize space planning and improve layout based on customer traffic.
- Support sales through effective merchandising and display performance improvements.
- Conduct VM audits, guide branch teams, and report compliance gaps.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and ensure displays are safe and customer-friendly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–5 years’ experience in visual merchandising within retail, fashion, footwear, cosmetics, or FMCG.
- Experience working in a multi-branch retail environment is an added advantage.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous visual merchandising projects is desirable.
