Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya, for a Technical Sales Representative. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise on solutions. Other key responsibilities include delivering product demonstrations, creating technical proposals, and collaborating with the service team to meet client needs. The role also involves providing exceptional customer service and participating in training programs to stay updated with technological advancements.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Technical Sales and Sales with the ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Exceptional Communication skills for interacting with clients and presenting technical solutions effectively.
- Experience in Training clients or team members on technical solutions and product usage.
- Proficiency in understanding and explaining technical concepts related to electrical infrastructure, power systems, and data center solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Relevant experience in the energy, power protection, or data center industry is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
