About The Role
BioKenya is seeking a confident and articulate graduate to join our team as a Strategic Partnerships Associate.
This role focuses on building and managing relationships across our growing ecosystem of partners, including research institutions, universities, corporates, and global collaborators.
You will play a key role in expanding our network, supporting stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that partnerships are structured, tracked, and actively progressing.
This role is suited for individuals who are strong communicators, organized, and comfortable engaging with professionals across different sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential partners across academia, industry, and policy
- Conduct outreach through professional platforms such as LinkedIn
- Deliver structured presentations to prospective partners
- Maintain and update the partnerships database (CRM)
- Track all engagements and ensure timely follow-ups
- Support organization of stakeholder meetings and events
- Capture insights and contribute to development of strategic frameworks
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Pharmacy
- Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Must have graduated within the last 5 years
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence engaging with professionals and stakeholders
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and follow-ups
