Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Raw Material Specialist to oversee inventory management and material flow in our line-side warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, handle returns, and maintain accurate records to support seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical counts of raw materials in the line-side warehouse.
- Maintain precise records of inventory levels and material usage.
Material Returns & Replenishment:
- Process material returns efficiently.
- Monitor stock for shortages and initiate timely replenishment requests to the Production and Material Control (PMC) team.
Operational Support:
- Identify and report discrepancies or potential supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in raw material inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in record-keeping.
- Basic numerical and calculation abilities.
- Familiarity with standard computer applications (e.g., Excel, inventory software).
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
