Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, culturally aware, and platform-savvy Content Creator who understands how to create engaging digital content that feels current, relevant, and shareable. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of trends, internet culture, platform differences, and what makes content perform. This role is suited to someone who can make content more fun, lighter, and more engaging while still aligning with brand goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create engaging content ideas tailored to different digital platforms.
- Identify trends, viral formats, and cultural moments and translate them into brand-relevant content.
- Create content that is fun, engaging, and optimized for audience interaction and shareability.
- Adapt tone, style, and creative approach depending on the platform and target audience.
- Support content planning, scripting, caption writing, and publishing.
- Work with internal teams to align content with campaign goals and brand direction.
- Analyze content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement and platform behavior.
- Stay current on platform updates, creator trends, and audience preferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Film, Media, Digital Content, or a related field is required.
- Proven understanding of social media trends, viral content, and audience engagement.
- Strong understanding of the differences between major platforms and how content performs on each.
- Ability to create content that feels current, creative, and aligned with internet culture.
- Active personal content platforms or prior experience managing content for a brand, business, freelance work, or personal page.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Creative judgment, speed, and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, or YouTube.
- Basic skills in editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Experience growing a page, building engagement, or creating high-performing content.
- Understanding of content strategy, platform analytics, and digital audience behavior.
- Agency experience or experience working across multiple brands is an added advantage.
