Purpose of the Role
The School Nurse plays a central role in promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils and staff. This includes delivering high‑quality clinical care, supporting the pastoral life of the school, and contributing to the wider ethos of kindness, courage, and community engagement for which Peponi House is known. The nurse also supports early identification of health needs, contributes to safeguarding practice, and promotes health education
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse with either Diploma/Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
- Current practicing license from the Nursing council of Kenya.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Valid certification or training relevant to paediatric first aid and emergency care.
