This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmaceutical Technologist located in Embu town, Kenya. The Pharmaceutical Technologist will be responsible for weighing, mixing, and preparing medications (compounding), interpreting and dispensing prescriptions, providing professional medication counseling, advising clients on proper medicine usage, and maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical standards. The role requires careful attention to detail and the ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Compounding and preparation of pharmaceutical products
- Proficiency in Prescription interpretation and medicine dispensation
- Understanding and application of Pharmacy-related practices
- Strong Communication skills and ability to provide professional medication counseling
- Possession of a diploma or degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and registration with the relevant professional body
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and patient safety
- Experience in customer service or retail pharmacy is an added advantage
