Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical switchboards and control panels from technical drawings and schematics.
- Mount and secure electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, and bus-bars.
- Perform wiring, termination, and cable routing neatly and accurately.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Conduct basic testing and quality checks before final inspection.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in switchboard or control panel assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, bus-bars, and control devices.
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
- Sound understanding of electrical standards and workplace health & safety practices.
