Maua Methodist Hospital (MMH) is a national institution of the Methodist Church in Kenya which was established in 1928 by the British Methodist Missionaries in obedience to the great commission of Christ. From that humble modest start the hospital has grown to a regional Referral and Teaching Hospital in Meru County. MMH is also a hub for community health and development services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or its equivalent.
- Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
- Valid nursing practicing license
- Must have relevant tutor experience.
- Must be able to provide instruction at various levels within the program areas
- Must have experience in developing course curriculum as per accreditation and international standards
- Must possess specialist knowledge and the ability to operate specialist programs and equipment
- Must have effective presentation skills, both theoretical and practical
- A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology
- Have current knowledge of industry practices, trends and issues (specific knowledge with regards to healthcare services and related education)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Honest and full of integrity in personal conduct and handling of job responsibilities
- Committed Christians with evidence of maturity in faith
