Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Assistant based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations within the logistics department, managing inventory, coordinating shipments and deliveries, procuring supplies, and maintaining records of transactions to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The role also involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners to streamline processes and optimize supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in Customer Service to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction
- Experience in Inventory Management and strong Organization Skills to monitor, track, and maintain stock levels
- Skills in Purchasing and Logistics Management to coordinate procurement and oversee supply chain functions
- Proficient communication and teamwork capabilities
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in retail, logistics, or supply chain is an added advantage
