Duties and Responsibilities

Duties at this level will include;

• preparation of materials for binding;
• shelf arrangement;
• provision of reference services to readers;
• filing of catalogue cards and press cuttings;
• Charging and discharging library materials.

Requirements for Appointment

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade C or its equivalent qualification with at least a C in either Mathematics, English or Kiswahili;
• A Diploma in Library Studies or Information Science or their recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Terms of Service: Permanent and pensionable Remuneration: As per SRC Circular
