Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission molecular diagnostic and laboratory equipment.
- Train laboratory personnel on equipment use, maintenance, and biosafety protocols. • Perform equipment calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance.
- Provide onsite and virtual technical support to resolve equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory quality assurance standards and SOPs.
Technical Competencies & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of TB diagnostic workflows and molecular diagnostics.
- Expert ability to troubleshoot and repail laboratory diagnostic equipment.
- Strong understanding of laboratory biosafety and quality management systems.
- Experience in developing laboratory-specific SOPs and training materials.
- Excellent report-writing skills and meticulous documentation of equipment logs. Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences/Technology.
- Registration: Must be registered and licensed by the KMLTTB (or relevant professional board).
- Experience: Prior experience in TB/Lung health diagnostics is a significant advantage.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to remote health facilities.
