Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Hygiene & Cleanliness

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including food preparation surfaces, floors, sinks, and storage spaces.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and segregation in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area at all times.

Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance

• Follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures during all kitchen operations.
• Support in maintaining cleanliness standards required by health and safety regulations.
• Report any hygiene risks, pest issues, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Kitchen Support Operations

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Ensure availability of clean utensils and equipment during food preparation and service.
• Support in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries.

Equipment Care & Maintenance

• Handle kitchen tools and equipment responsibly to prevent damage.
• Report broken or faulty equipment for repair or replacement.
• Ensure proper storage of cleaned items in designated areas.

 Guest & Team Support

• Maintain a neat appearance and professional conduct at all times.
• Demonstrate good customer service attitude when interacting with staff and guests.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hardworking and reliable.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Well-groomed and neat appearance.
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision.
