Job Purpose
The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will oversee housekeeping operations within assigned areas, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene standards, and efficient allocation of housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping attendants to ensure daily cleaning schedules are effectively implemented.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to verify adherence to established cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Allocate duties and monitor performance of housekeeping staff.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Maintain inventory records for cleaning supplies and requisition replacements as needed.
- Train and guide housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Prepare operational reports and submit them to management as required.
