Looking for a geology internship in Kenya? Adimaye Geoengineering Ltd is recruiting a Geology Intern position.. The job is based in Nairobi with field sites across Kenya. Proficiency in GIS tools, field mapping, and geological data analysis is required.
Adimaye Geoengineering Ltd is a Kenyan mineral exploration, infrastructure, materials engineering, and environmental consultancy. We are recruiting a fresh BSc Geology (or related) graduate to join our dynamic team as an Intern Geologist on a 3-6-month internship.
This role combines project support work and fieldwork across Kenya, including assignments of up to one month at a time. It is ideal for a graduate who wants hands-on exposure to real projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Support exploration for industrial minerals and related geological projects.
- Assist with field mapping, sampling, data collection and geological logging.
- Help process, analyze and synthesize geological data, including the use of GIS tools.
- Contribute to technical report writing, daily/weekly field summaries and project documentation.
- Support project activities, logistics, coordination of field teams and collaboration with local leadership.
- report directly to the Senior Geologist.
What we’re looking for:
- B.Sc. in Geology or closely related discipline (recent graduate).
- Familiarity with GIS tools and solid report writing and communication skills.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to travel and work at field sites.
- Willingness to learn, reliability and professional discipline.
