Purpose of the Enumerator Role

Enumerators Jobs at Kenya Sugar Board involve direct engagement with respondents and systematic recording of information using mobile technology. Responsibilities:

• Conduct field interviews and surveys within assigned locations across Kenya
• Record data accurately using an Android smartphone as the primary data collection tool
• Verify and cross-check information gathered from respondents before submission
• Maintain detailed field notes and documentation throughout the enumeration process
• Report daily progress and submit completed data entries on schedule
• Communicate clearly with respondents to ensure accurate and complete information gathering
• Navigate assigned areas efficiently and manage time effectively across multiple data collection sites.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years and above
• Must own an Android smartphone
• Minimum KCSE grade of C- (Minus)
• Good communication skills
• Strong knowledge of the local area

What to Expect

• Daily remuneration of KES 1,500 for successful data collection work
• Field-based work across designated counties in Kenya with flexible scheduling based on survey requirements
• Temporary employment on a rolling basis with potential for contract renewal depending on project needs
