Interns will also contribute ideas and support content strategy initiatives for impactful journalism across digital platforms.

  • Strong skills in Editing, Proofreading, and copyediting to ensure content quality and accuracy
  • Proficiency in research and analysis to support content development and fact-checking
  • Understanding of Content Writing and Creative Writing to enhance storytelling and engagement
  • Organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and publishing tools
  • Some knowledge of East Africa’s socio-economic and cultural topics is a plus
  • Pursuing or completing a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
