Digital Marketing Intern Job (15-20K)

The salary for the role is Ksh 15,000 – 20,000 monthly. Proficiency in Canva, social media management, and content creation is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-quality social media graphics, posters, reels, and short videos using Canva
- Adapt content to suit different platforms while maintaining brand consistency
- Assist in developing creative content ideas aligned with marketing objectives
- Write engaging captions, hashtags, and call-to-action messages
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across company social media platforms
- Maintain an up-to-date content calendar
- Ensure timely and accurate posting according to the marketing schedule
- Monitor daily social media activity and flag any issues or opportunities
- Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
- Foster positive relationships with the online audience
- Escalate customer inquiries or complaints to the relevant departments when necessary
- Encourage audience interaction through polls, questions, and interactive content
- Assist in executing digital marketing and social media campaigns
- Support promotional activities, product launches, and brand awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns meet deadlines and objectives
- Track social media performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and clicks
- Assist in preparing weekly or monthly performance reports
- Analyze what content performs best and suggest improvements
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing tools
- Identify new content formats and engagement strategies
- Share insights and recommendations with the marketing team
- Maintain organized digital files for content and reports
- Attend team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in any field
- Certificate in Digital Marketing or a related course
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles
- Proficiency in Canva for content creation
- Strong written communication skills
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
