Dentist – Kimathi Street – CBD Job Penda Health
Looking for a medical job in Kenya? Penda Health is hiring a dentist to provide quality dental care, conduct examinations and perform dental procedures. The role is based in Nairobi and a valid practising licence is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans patients actually understand.
- Perform a range of clinical dental procedures to restore and maintain oral health.
- Provide Patient-Centred education on preventive care and oral hygiene.
- Work alongside COHOs and the broader clinical team — your expertise lifts the whole unit, not just your chair.
- Mentor and support junior dental staff, including our Community Oral Health Officers.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Contribute to community outreach initiatives that bring dental care to people who’ve never had access to it.
Qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognised institution.
- You are registered and hold a valid practising licence with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- You have at least 1 year of clinical experience in a dental practice.
- You communicate clearly and put patients at ease — including the nervous ones.
- You enjoy mentoring and naturally lift the people around you.
- You take patient safety and ethical practice personally.
- You want meaningful clinical work that fits around your other commitments.
