Role Description
This role is for a full-time Credit Officer, primarily based in the Central Business District (CBD) with flexibility for hybrid work, allowing some work-from-home arrangements. The Credit Officer will handle credit management functions, review loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting detailed financial analysis, assisting Members with credit needs, and collaborating with other teams to provide exceptional service and support tailored to Members’ financial goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Credit Management and thorough understanding of Credit evaluation processes
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
- Knowledge of Finance and lending practices to support effective decision-making
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with Members and deliver superior service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Familiarity with regulations and compliance related to credit and finance is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in banking or credit unions will be considered an advantage
