On behalf of our client, a reputable law firm, we are seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and experienced Conveyancing Advocate to join its legal team. The role focuses on supporting property transactions, preparing legal documentation, advising clients on real estate and commercial matters, and ensuring full compliance throughout all stages of the transaction process.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, technically proficient, and capable of independently managing conveyancing matters from inception to completion.

  • Handle the full cycle of conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for sale, leases, transfers, charges, and related conveyancing documents.
  • Conduct due diligence on property transactions, including title investigations and verification of ownership documents.
  • Oversee property registration processes and ensure compliance with applicable land laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Liaise with land registries, survey offices, financial institutions, and relevant government agencies to facilitate approvals and registrations.
  • Prepare security documentation and other transactional instruments related to financing arrangements.
  • Draft and review commercial agreements and contractual documents.
  • Provide legal advice and opinions on real estate and commercial transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements throughout transactions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, lenders, valuers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients on ongoing matters.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the firm.
  • Minimum of two (2) years post-admission experience within a busy legal practice environment.
  • An upper 2nd Bachelors of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
  • Must possess a valid practicing certificate.
