Our client, a reputable and fast-growing law firm in Nakuru with a strong focus on commercial transactions and conveyancing practice, is looking to recruit a skilled and highly motivated Commercial & Conveyancing Advocate to join their team. The successful candidate will be involved in handling property transactions, commercial advisory work, and legal documentation while ensuring smooth execution of client matters.

  • Handle conveyancing transactions from initiation to completion
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for sale, leases, transfers, charges, and related legal documents
  • Conduct due diligence on property transactions and prepare supporting documentation
  • Coordinate property registration processes and ensure compliance with relevant land laws and regulations
  • Liaise with land registries, survey offices, and relevant government agencies to facilitate registrations and approvals
  • Prepare securities and transactional documents for financing arrangements
  • Draft and review commercial agreements and contracts
  • Provide clients with legal opinions and advisory services on commercial and real estate matters
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all transactions
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, lenders, valuers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide timely updates and legal support to clients throughout transactions
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Support the firm in additional legal assignments and related duties as may be assigned
  • Minimum of two (2) years post-admission experience within a busy legal practice environment.
  • An upper 2nd Bachelors of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
  • Must possess a valid practicing certificate.
