Clinical Officer -Anaesthetist Job Mediforte Hospital
Looking for a medical job in Kenya? Mediforte Hospital is recruiting a Clinical Officer – Anaesthetist position. Proficiency in anaesthesia administration, pre-operative assessment, and emergency care is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer safe anaesthesia for surgical, obstetric, and emergency procedures under approved clinical guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operative assessment of patients and formulate appropriate anaesthetic plans. Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthesia, ensuring prompt management of any complications. .
- Participate in post-operative patient care and pain management.
- Perform airway management and resuscitation during emergencies
- Participate in the hospital’s on-call and emergency duty roster as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine with specialized training in Anaesthesia from a recognized institution.
- Experience in administering anaesthesia for general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, and emergency procedures will be an added advantage.
