Role overview

A Brand Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and amplifying the organisation’s brand identity across all channels and touchpoints. Based in Nairobi or a key Kenyan market, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution — ensuring the brand remains consistent, relevant, and competitive in the East African market.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
• Plan and execute brand & marketing campaigns across digital, print and outdoor channels.
• Create and manage marketing collateral — posters, flyers, banners, social content, and promotional materials.
• Manage social media platforms, keeping content fresh, on-brand, and engaging.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify positioning opportunities within the Kenyan and broader EAC market
• Support product launches, events, and activations with creative direction and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to ensure brand alignment in go-to-market activity
• Manage agencies, designers and vendors to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
• Report on brand performance metrics and present insights to leadership

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a brand, marketing, or creative role covering both strategy and execution.
• Confident producing or directing marketing materials including print and digital collateral.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
• Strong copywriting skills and a good eye for design.
• Solid understanding of the Kenyan & EAC consumer market.
