Requirements for Appointment:

• Bachelors of Science degree Food science, home economics, Agriculture, Agribusiness
• Management, Horticulture, Agricultural extension and Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Report writing skills;
• Possess Proposal development skills; and
• Proficiency in computer application skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: –

• Coordinate crop development and food security, Agri-Nutrition, Engineering, Extension,
• Research and Training, Agribusiness and Projects Monitoring and Evaluation;
• Coordinate delivery of agricultural extension actities;
• Collect and package new and esting agricultural technologies for dissemination to crop
• related value chain actors;
• Collect and collate agriculture information;
• Compile and analyze field reports for decision making;
• Facilitate delivery of farm production and marketing of extension serces;
• Manage information desks within the Sub – County; and
• Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
