The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory control, audit support, and ensuring compliance with financial and statutory requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily sales (POS, Cash, M-Pesa & Bank)
• Monitor and investigate cash and stock variances
• Maintain accurate accounting records and cashbooks
• Conduct bank, supplier, and inventory reconciliations
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
• Support statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy, etc.)
• Monitor stock movement, shrinkage, and wastage
• Support internal audits and fraud risk monitoring
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor customer credit accounts and debtor balances
• Support branch operational controls and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum CPA II qualification or Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC)
• Minimum 2-4 years’ accounting experience, preferably in real estate, retail, FMCG, or hospitality
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, inventory controls, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• High attention to detail and analytical skills
