We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Designer to join our dynamic team at Pinch Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, website design principles, and digital marketing tools. They will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional websites for our clients, as well as implementing and managing various digital marketing initiatives.
Website Design and Development:
- Design and build custom websites using WordPress, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with clients’ branding and goals.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to incorporate SEO best practices into website design.
- Regularly update and maintain client websites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Digital Marketing Implementation:
- Set up and configure Google Analytics to track website traffic and user behaviour.
- Implement Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, ad creation, and campaign optimisation.
- Install and manage Facebook Pixel to track conversions and retarget website visitors.
Project Management:
- Utilise ClickUp or similar project management tools to track tasks, deadlines, and progress.
- Effectively communicate with clients and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Stay Up-to-Date:
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in website design, WordPress development, and digital marketing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in website design and development using WordPress.
Skills:
- Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel.
- Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp.
- Strong design aesthetic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field preferred.
