Water & Effluent Treatment Technician Job Kenchic

Looking for an engineering job in Kenya? Kenchic is hiring a water & effluent treatment technician to operate and maintain water treatment systems and ensure environmental compliance. The role is based in Nairobi and knowledge of water and effluent treatment processes is required.

Key Responsibility

• Kenchic is seeking a skilled and proactive Water & Effluent Treat- ment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring water and effluent treat- ment systems, ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water and effluent treatment processes. Conduct water, effluent, and sludge sampling and testing. Monitor equipment performance and report faults promptly. Maintain treatment records and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with NEMA regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of treatment equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Water Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of water and effluent treatment processes and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
