Job Overview

The role will be to aid in overall warehouse management activities, keep track of the physical inventory of completed finished goods, facilitate traceability and precise picking, and report any losses or damage to stock that occur within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the daily supervision of the loading process of orders.
• Participate fully in daily and end-month physical stock-taking and reconciliation.
• Assisting the logistics manager and warehouse supervisor in creating route plans.
• Maintaining proper SKU arrangement within the locators; ensuring proper arrangement of only one SKU per locator (Product Segregation).
• Champion proper housekeeping within the warehouse and supervise activities such as picking orders.
• Ensuring FIFO/FEFO is followed within the warehouse.
• Working closely with the inventory officer to keep records of stocks being received from production and dispatch.
• Assist in SAP operations, posting production data, transfer of products, updating master production plan, and stock reconciliation.
• Assisting in the verification of delivery notes that have been submitted by drivers from customers and forwarding them to the accounts department.
• Assisting in receiving packaging materials from suppliers and issuing them to respective departments.
• Ensure that safety & security measures for the warehouse are at the highest standard.
• Reporting any challenges, incidents, or issues that might arise in the warehouse.
• Training other workers and new staff on the warehouse SOPs.
• Undertake any additional roles that might be instructed by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Certificate in Logistics and Warehousing Management.
• 1-2years of experience in a similar role in the FMCG industry.
• Basic computer skills with experience of working with SAP.
• A good team player with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Honesty, integrity, and good work ethic.
