We’re looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor with a flair for storytelling and comedy to join our team. This role focuses on internal projects. If you’re experienced in creating engaging video content for YouTube or entertainment media, this role is for you!
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years as a video editor, ideally in entertainment/comedy (YouTube, TV, festivals)
- Strong rhythm, pacing, and comedic timing
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects a plus
- Skilled in color correction, basic sound, motion graphics, and titles
- Experience editing for YouTube and large footage volumes
- Understanding of comedic storytelling and supporting jokes through edits
- Creative but format-consistent approach
- High English proficiency
- Comfortable with flexible hours and quick revisions
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused
- Good communication, team player, self-organized, stress-resistant
- Sense of humor
.Job Responsibilities
- Project Understanding: Analyze both creative and technical briefs. Adapt edits to brand style and audience
- Editing Skills: Execute edits from simple cuts to complex storytelling. Combine video, audio, and graphics per references
- Text & Subtitles: Create and proofread subtitles. Add animated titles and graphics as needed
- Proactivity: Stay current with tools, trends, and formats in video production
- Deadlines: Meet timelines, flag delays early, and solve editing issues quickly
- Communication: Be available during work hours, collaborate clearly and respectfully
- Technical Proficiency: Confident in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve. Basic skills in color, audio, and VFX. Know platform-specific export standard
- Organized Workflow: Keep media well-structured and versions tracked
- Copyright Aware: Use only licensed assets. Ensure final content is copyright-compliant
- Creative Growth: Explore new editing techniques and contribute fresh visual ideas
