Strategy & Execution

  • Own the venture roadmap, being accountable for commercial targets, and maintain the company’s financial model to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and implement the venture’s talent strategy, including recruiting specialised expertise from key sericulture markets such as India and China
  • Lead cross-border collaboration on technical benchmarks and capability building, including establishing relationships with partners and experts in China and India

Go-To-Market

  • Develop and lead Savannah Seritech’s go-to-market strategy, including identifying target buyers and priority market segments, and serving as the primary point of contact for off- takers and supply-chain partners during early commercialisation
  • Execute the venture’s first commercial sales across both local and international markets. Specifically, build out to at least US$15,000 monthly revenues over next 12 months
  • Design and implement the venture’s longer-term commercial strategy as production volumes scale
  • Build enabling partnerships across the silk ecosystem, including with weaving partners, research institutes, and technical experts

Tech, Data & Performance Management

  • Lead product management of digital plantation management tools and performance dashboards to enable scalable monitoring and reporting
  • Develop insights from operational and commercial data to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement

Fundraising Process Support

  • Support fundraising, including preparing investor materials, managing diligence requests, and tracking the investor pipeline
  • Help refine the venture’s capital strategy with Pyramidia, identifying the right funding sources for this stage of growth
  • Support governance, reporting, and investor communication as the venture progresses

Support Ops Team in the Field to Scale

  • Support the operations team in the field to scale execution in a structured and efficient way
  • Help develop, improve, and document SOPs and other core operational processes
  • Translate field learnings into practical improvements to strengthen quality, consistency, and scalability
  • Background in management consulting, GTM/sales/Business Development, startup scaling operations, or equivalent in a highly analytical environment
  • Strong problem solving and business judgment; trained to break down complex problems and drive towards logical conclusions
  • Hands-on mindset – from diving deep into data to getting on the phone with buyers
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, workstreams, junior team members, and stakeholders in parallel
  • Calm under complexity and accountable for results
  • Passion for agriculture, climate, or emerging markets is a must; experience is a strong plus
