Experienced heavy commerical and plant workshop manager to oversee and work hands on with our fleet of saloon vehicles, pickups, canters, trucks, semitrailers, forklifts & mobile cranes.

Responsibilities

• Manages capital asset maintenance.
• Establish and monitor overall machinery and vehicles performance for production and quality standards.
• Provide leadership, motivation and training a team of mechanics.
• Developing and implementing efficient workflow processes.
• Ensuring timely completion of projects and assignments.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure necessary spares are available in the right quantity at right time.
• Manage and Update inventory or spare parts and consumables.
• Deliver and manage in line with approved staff management policies and procedures and Quality, Safety Health & Environment (SQHE) policy

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, a degree is desirable
• 10 years progressive experience in a similar environment
• Time management
• Must be well organized
• Training and supervisory skills
• Use of business computer applications and data management
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Superior analyzing, reporting, informing and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle complexities, pressure and conflicts
• Supervisory and leadership skills
