Valuation officer Intern Job
Job Summary:
Regent Automobile Valuers & Assessors Ltd is offering an exciting 2-month internship program for passionate and driven individuals with strong automotive diagnostic and mechanical skills. The internship is designed to train, mentor, and assess candidates for the role of Valuation Officer. Upon successful completion and qualification, candidates will be considered for full-time employment.
This role is ideal for recent graduates, diploma holders, or technically trained individuals looking to kick-start a career in vehicle valuation and inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured 2-month training program led by experienced valuers and mechanical experts.
- Assist in physical inspection of vehicles to identify faults, wear and tear, accident damage, or mechanical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and basic mechanical tests to uncover hidden issues in vehicles.
- Support the valuation team in preparing detailed and accurate vehicle valuation reports.
- Learn industry standards for valuation, damage assessment, and reporting protocols.
- Visit client locations for on-site vehicle inspections under supervision.
- Uphold safety and professionalism in all interactions and assignments.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and readiness to take on full responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or recent graduate in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and basic repair concepts.
- Ability to identify mechanical faults and interpret basic fault codes.
- Strong interest in motor vehicle valuation and assessment work.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.
