Role Overview
Siafu Home is hiring a Trade and Projects Lead to own and grow our professional client portfolio – including interior designers, architects, developers, and hospitality projects.
Siafu Home is building a new generation African textile house rooted in craftsmanship and design excellence. We are seeking a Trade & Projects Lead to grow and manage our professional client portfolio – working closely with interior designers, architects, developers, and hospitality groups. This is not a traditional sales role, but a relationship-driven, design-sensitive commercial position that owns the full journey from inquiry and specification through pricing, production coordination, and delivery. The ideal candidate has a background or strong experience in interior design or a design-led environment, understands how creative professionals think, appreciates beautifully made products, and is confident driving revenue while ensuring every project reflects the quality and ambition of the Siafu brand.
You will own the full journey – from first inquiry to quotation, order confirmation, and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert all trade and project-based inquiries
- Build and grow relationships with designers, architects, and developers
- Work closely with clients through the design process – reviewing specifications, finishes, materials, custom requirements, and revisions – until final design confirmation
- Prepare quotations and project pricing
- Identify new clients and grow the portfolio
- Track and follow up on all leads to drive conversion
- Coordinate with production and operations on timelines and delivery
- Own the full order lifecycle from confirmation to dispatch
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and sales reporting
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in a design-driven company (e.g., interior design studio, homeware brand, furniture company, architecture-related business)
- Experience managing professional and project-based clients
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients
- Strong understanding of working with designers or creative teams
- Highly organized, commercially minded, and confident managing revenue independently
- Genuine interest in interiors, textiles, furniture, or product design
