Responsibilities
- Design, cost and package unique travel itineraries for local and international clients
- Manage bookings for transport, accommodation and activities
- Build and maintain strong supplier networks (hotels, airlines, guides, transport providers and other related networks)
- Provide excellent customer service before, during and after trips
- Support sales & marketing efforts to promote packages and bring in clients
- Ensure accurate documentation (visas, permits, insurance and contracts)
- Monitor industry trends to keep packages competitive and innovative
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Tourism Management, Travel & Hospitality, Business or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the tours & travel industry
- Proven ability to design and price tour packages
- Strong knowledge of Kenya’s tourism destinations (safari, coastal, cultural and adventure)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a growing company
Added Advantage
- Certification in IATA, Galileo/Amadeus (GDS systems), or Tour Operations
- Experience working with Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, airlines and transport providers
- Sales & marketing skills with a track record of bringing in clients
- Familiarity with digital marketing & travel platforms
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
