Tour Consultant Intern Job Bobu Africa Nairobi, Kenya
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in reservations for a safari tour company and tour operations.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking systems.
- Attention to deatail, multitasking ability, and customer-first approach. Knowledge of East Africa destinations is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing and confirming reservations for flights, hotels, and activities.
- Liaise with hotels, airlines, and service providers to ensure availability and smooth delivery.
- Assist in issuing hotel vouchers, itineraries, quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations.
- Assist the sales team in creating itineraries based on client needs.
- Address booking changes, cancellations, special requests, and emergency support.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to align bookings with company processes.
- Keep up-to-date digital and physical files for all reservations and related documents.
- Assist in monitoring service standards, gather feedback, and help improve the process.
