Our client is start up engineering firm putting good housing within reach. They are looking for a Technical Sales to drive sales and provide technical support for our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, sales, and technical advisory, with a proven ability to build relationships with contractors, QS, architects, engineers, and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both Public and Private Schools, NGO’S, Corporates, Saccos, Corporates and procurement teams.
- Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to meet client needs.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Technical Advisory & Product Knowledge
- Understand ICF Technology and be a champion for change in construction industry.
- Educate clients on product benefits.
- Offer solutions for construction challenges and value preposition
Client Support & Relationship Management
- Conduct site visits to provide hands-on assistance.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, construction regulations, and product innovations.
- Monitor competitor pricing, product offerings, and market strategies.
- Provide feedback to R&D and production teams to enhance product quality and innovation.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and market intelligence.
Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
Contribute to the development of sales strategies and business plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B Sales in the construction space is a MUST.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Analytical skills to understand market trends and customer needs.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer inquiries.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on products, services, and sales techniques.
- Good negotiation Skills
- Technical knowledge of construction processes and materials.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client requirements.
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain a professional network within the industry.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for sales and marketing activities.
- Ability to pay attention to details to ensure accuracy in proposals, contracts, and reports.
- Regularly review performance against targets and provide feedback.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate detailed sales reports to track progress and identify trends.
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites and construction locations.
