Location: Nairobi, Kenya (with regional travel as required)

Reports To: Managing Director / Sales Manager,

To drive sales and provide technical expertise for water, wastewater, and rainwater treatment solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the company’s growth through strategic partnerships and technical excellence.

  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities in water, wastewater, and rainwater treatment sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to prospective clients.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance during project planning, installation, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
  • Support site supervision and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare progress reports and documentation for ongoing projects.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of treatment systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for technicians and clients on system operation and maintenance.
  • Offer after-sales support and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Education: BSc in Environmental & Biosystems Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in water/wastewater treatment projects, including site supervision and technical sales.
  • Proven track record in field service and maintenance operations.
  • Knowledge of water resource engineering, wastewater treatment processes, and system design.
  • Ability to design, size & preparation of BOQ of water, wastewater, and rainwater treatment systems.
  • Experience in designing solutions for LEED-certified developments, including water reuse systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting and modeling software.
  • Knowledge of trouble shooting water, wastewater & rainwater treatment systems.
  • Preparation of layouts, P&I diagram, process flow diagrams, water balance sheet, etc.,
  • Self-driven and results oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • ICDL or equivalent computer proficiency.
  • Participation in industry conferences and workshops is an added advantage.
