Location –Simba Farm situated along Old Nyahururu-Rumuruti Road
Job core objectives
To ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and technical standards across all farm operations, including pest management, employee training, PPE management, and regulatory audits. The role is critical in maintaining farm hygiene, meeting audit requirements (e.g., ETI, Global Gap, F2F, WFA, KEPHIS/HCD), and ensuring effective pest and disease control while keeping the management informed of all technical aspects of the farm.
Qualifications
To qualify, you MUST have the following essential abilities/competencies for this job role.
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of pest management, crop protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Global Gap, KEPHIS, NEMA).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to conduct training and assessments.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene standards in agricultural settings.
- Proficiency in record keeping and reporting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in excel for reporting purpose.
