Technical Knowledge Lead Job Zeno

Engineering Jobs. Zeno Jobs

The Role

Zeno is seeking a meticulous and technically minded Technical Knowledge Lead to lead all aspects of vehicle quality and assurance at our Kenya assembly facility. This role owns final vehicle sign-off — from bring-up and validation to post-service inspections — ensuring every motorcycle meets Zeno’s performance, reliability, and safety standards. You will lead Incoming Quality Control (IQC) of all received components, coordinate with the India team to identify and resolve manufacturing and design quality issues, and drive continuous improvement in product quality. A strong design engineering mindset and sharp attention to detail are critical to success in this role.

  • Own Internal Technical Documentation: Develop, update, and maintain all vehicle service manuals, standard operating procedures, and diagnostic guides.
  • Training Design & Delivery: Create and execute training-of-trainers (ToT) programs, as well as direct technician training across service centers and assembly sites.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Serve as the primary link between R&D/Product teams and field/service teams — ensuring timely updates on new models, design changes, and technical improvements.
  • Curriculum Development: Build structured technical learning pathways, certification systems, and assessment tools for Zeno technicians and trainers.
  • Feedback & Improvement: Collect field insights to improve training content and influence future product and process design.
  • Technical Communication: Produce clear visual and written materials (illustrations, videos, infographics) that make complex systems simple and teachable.
  • Tooling & Systems: Implement digital learning platforms, knowledge bases, and diagnostic information systems to support field learning and continuous improvement.
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior technician, or engineer in the automotive or electric vehicle sector.
  • Deep understanding of electric motorcycle systems — electrical, mechanical, and software.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality technical training and documentation.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, R&D, and service teams to translate engineering concepts into practical applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident teaching both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with training design tools, digital learning systems, and field enablement platforms.
  • Passion for learning, mentorship, and building world-class technical capability within a growing EV organization.
