Roles

  • Execute client assignments, including but not limited to tax compliance, tax due diligence, tax health checks, and tax advisory.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare and process monthly payrolls for clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and file statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, VAT, withholding taxes) with relevant authorities within stipulated deadlines.
  • Perform detailed and value-adding reviews of tax computations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide reliable and well-informed tax advice to clients across different sectors and jurisdictions.
  • Support business development through proposal writing, responding to expressions of interest (EOIs), cross-selling, and upselling of firm services.

Qualifications

  • Professional Accounting qualification – CPA(K) or ACCA
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax practice
  • Solid knowledge of tax regulations and the application of taxation across different sectors and jurisdictions in Africa
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
