Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Officer – Procurement. The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process and ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services needed. This role involves collaborating with various departments to service the requirements, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Competencies for the position

• Ability to draw service contracts.
• Constant and Rigorous follow-ups for timely deliveries.
• Local Procurement understanding is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Software.
• Understanding of government regulations.
• Understanding of inventory management.
• Ability to improve logistics processes.
• Ability to plan logistics.
• Strong ability for negotiation of price quotes and contracts.
• Ability to manage Material Resource Planning.
• Flexible with timings.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field. (Must Have).
• Must have worked in a manufacturing industry for more than 3 Years. 
• Must have worked in the FMCG industry.
• Minimum 5 Years’ Experience.
• Import Export Logistics Experience is an added advantage.
• Local Procurement as a Major.

Skills required

• Data Analysis Expertise.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
