Are You Passionate About Structural Design And Eager To Launch Your Career In Engineering? Royal Mabati Factory Ltd Is Seeking A Structural Engineer Intern To Support Our Engineering Team In Designing Innovative, Safe, And Efficient Roofing And Structural Solutions.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Final-year student or recent graduate with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Basic understanding of structural design principles and engineering standards (BS, Eurocode, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000 is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Key Competencies
- Assist in preparing structural design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit/STAAD.Pro.
- Support load analysis and design calculations under supervision.
- Participate in project scheduling, documentation, and coordination with suppliers and site teams.
- Join site visits to collect field data, observe construction progress, and report findings. Conduct research on new materials, structural technologies, and sustainability solutions.
- Maintain organized engineering documentation and support regulatory compliance processes.
- Learn directly from senior engineers through mentorship and practical project exposure.
