Key Responsibilities

• Receiving all goods delivered to the store and verifying quantities and quality against delivery notes and LPOs.
• Recording all incoming and outgoing stock in the system and manual registers.
• Issuing materials to departments upon request and ensuring proper authorization.
• Maintaining accurate and updated stock levels and reporting shortages immediately.
• Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
• Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of inventory for easy retrieval.
• Monitoring stock expiry, damages, breakages, and reporting exceptions.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store area.
• Supporting procurement with follow-ups on deliveries and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with store management policies and internal controls.
• Preparing stock movement reports and submitting them to the Finance and Procurement teams.
• Coordinating with departments to understand and plan for stock requirements.
• Reviewing stock usage patterns and identifying slow-moving or fast-moving items.
• Supporting binliner distribution and updating inventory databases.
• Assisting in developing improved stock control procedures.
• Supporting budget monitoring by providing stock consumption trends.
• Identifying risks related to inventory (e.g., shortages, losses, wastage) and recommending mitigation measures.
• Preparing specialized inventory reports for management decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehousing, or related field.
• KISM certification is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in stores/warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Understanding of stock handling, receiving, issuing, and documentation procedures.
