Job Purpose

The Senior Full Stack Developer is a key contributor to Equity Group’s digital transformation agenda, responsible for the end‑to‑end design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure digital applications.
The role focuses on building robust backend services and APIs, developing responsive user‑centric front‑end interfaces, and providing technical leadership while working with cross‑functional teams across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable end‑to‑end digital applications.
• Develop responsive and modular user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, C#, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Integrate front‑end applications with backend systems, APIs, and cloud‑native platforms.
• Implement microservices, API gateways, and message‑driven architectures where required.

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define and enforce full‑stack architecture standards, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Provide technical direction on frameworks, tools, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment approaches.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and accessibility.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high development quality across the team.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and partners.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and containerized deployments.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Modernize legacy systems and introduce cutting‑edge technologies.
• Recommend improvements to architecture, development processes, and system performance.
• Stay current with emerging front‑end and back‑end technologies.  

Qualifications

Technical Competencies

Front‑End Technologies

• Angular (v6+), React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive and cross‑browser design
• REST API integration and modern build tools
• UI/UX collaboration using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD

Back‑End Technologies

• ASP.NET Core, C#, REST and SOAP APIs
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases
• Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
• API security using OAuth2, JWT, and API gateways
• Message brokering and streaming frameworks

DevOps & Quality

• Source control using Git and collaboration platforms
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Unit, integration, and automated testing practices
• Secure coding and compliance standards

Experience Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience in full‑stack, front‑end, or back‑end development
• Experience working with enterprise‑scale systems
• Exposure to digital banking, workflow automation, or application platforms
• Experience with cloud‑native and microservices‑based architectures
• Exposure to insurance systems is an added advantage

Academic Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Certifications in .NET, Angular, or Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS) are preferred
• Secure Coding or API Management certification is an added advantage
• Agile or Scrum certification is a plus
