Solar PV Engineer Job Safer Power

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solar PV Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of solar PV design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance, specifically within commercial and industrial environments. You will play a key role in delivering high-performance solar solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, size, and optimize commercial and C&I solar PV systems using industry-stand- ard tools.
  • Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and feasibility studies. Oversee installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, SLDs, bills of materials, and engineering reports.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, codes, and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and after-sales service. Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a re- lated field.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in solar PV engineering.
  • Strong understanding of PV system components, inverters, mounting structures, and Energy Storage (ESS).
  • Proficient in solar design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of both local and international electrical standards, grid interconnection requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
  • Authorised dealers of Huawei inverters, Jinko Solar panels, Schneider partner for switchboards and control panels, Fuji elevators & lifts and AKSA Generators, Delta UPS & Voltage Stabilisers.
  • KJ Perkins generators, Carrier & Toshiba air conditioners
  • Accredited electrical, mechanical and biomedical engineering & technology company.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Certification in solar PV systems (e.g., EPRA T3, or other relevant Certifications) is an added advantage.
