Our client in the solar industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled and certified Solar PV Engineer to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Solar PV Technology.
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience in solar PV system installation and commissioning.
  • Mandatory Certifications:
  • EPRA T3 Solar PV License (Commercial/Industrial systems)
  • EPRA B1 Electrical License (Electrical wiring and installation)
  • Advanced knowledge of inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), charge controllers, and solar software tools.
  • Familiarity with building codes, OSHA standards, and renewable energy compliance frameworks.

System Design & Planning

  • Conduct site assessments and generate solar PV system designs and BOMs.
  • Specify inverters, PV modules, batteries, charge controllers, and related BOS.
  • Ensure design compliance with grid-tied or hybrid integration standards.

Installation & Supervision

  • Oversee installation of solar arrays on rooftops and ground-mount systems.
  • Supervise electrical works, including inverter configuration and grid connection.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with engineering drawings and timelines.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PV performance, inverters, or storage.
  • Document faults, corrective actions, and performance logs.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure systems meet all EPRA and electrical code requirements.
  • Enforce safety protocols on site and during commissioning.
  • Support inspection readiness and technical audits.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide client education on solar PV usage and basic troubleshooting.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Report project milestones and risks to the management team.
