  • Supervise and provide regular oversight to Bid & Proposal Associates.
  • Review proposals for quality, compliance, win themes, and persuasiveness.
  • Conduct quality assurance on all bid submissions before final submission.
  • Develop bid strategies, win themes, and competitive positioning.
  • Mentor and train Bid & Proposal Associates on best practices and advanced techniques.
  • Lead development of complex, multi-million dollar proposals and consortia bids.
  • Facilitate bid kickoff meetings and coordinate multi-stakeholder proposal teams.
  • Develop pricing strategies and ensure competitive yet profitable positioning.
  • Create executive summaries and compelling value propositions.
  • Handle escalated proposal challenges requiring strategic solutions.
  • Coordinate workflow distribution among Bid & Proposal Associates.
  • Establish bid/no-bid decision frameworks and qualification criteria.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Build relationships with procurement professionals and client organizations.
  • Develop comprehensive proposal templates and style guides.
  • Review and optimize proposal processes and methodologies.
  • Lead debriefing sessions to understand client feedback and improve future bids.
  • Manage consortium partnerships and teaming agreements for joint bids.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and develop differentiation approaches.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in bid management or proposal development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of winning significant bids (demonstrate win rate and value).
  • Advanced persuasive writing and strategic communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes and evaluation criteria.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-partner proposals.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills.
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Ability to develop winning strategies and compelling narratives.
  • Experience with budget development and financial proposal components.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
